Basically, sums up my life currently (weekdays only)
WHEN’S MY TURN!!
I was bloghopping and came across this blog. I fell in love with his writing. He’s an Arts student from a Junior College. Same batch as me just different school. I agree totally with his writing. it goes:
Faith; an ambiguous term that is so elusive that it could be deemed as a conundrum.
We claim to be A Christian, A Muslim ,A Buddhist, A Bahai, A Wiccan, An Agnostic etc. But have we genuinely comprehend our faith(s) to the extend that we truly know what we are practicing? Despite the intellectual capacity given by the Almighty, must we bow down to the ancestral preachings even though the true esscence of the faith has been eroded?
“Every motion has a reason”
You are living in a hypocritical world if your faith lies within the sole objective of seeking paradise in the hereafter or the second life. Mankind should query ceaselessly and should strive to diverge from the sin of sloth. People must not be passive. We must be open to the various school of thoughts and not whole-heartedly swallowing a one-dimensional approach on an issue.
On a side note; Atheism is not synomnymous to being lazy. Atheism is a well-respected faith. A faith which fathoms no boundaries. Governed by naught laws. A faith of a lost soul. A faith which gives up on ‘Gospel truths’. Most definitely, a faith of ultimate freedom.
To culminate, you will only have the right to claim yourself to belong to a faith when you are aware in what you are investing in. You will never belong to a faith when all you do is just to tap on someone else’s without even trying to convince your personal doubts. This is the genesis of laziness.
“If you are born a muslim you are a muslim”- Hogwash.
Practicing a religious act does not insinuate your sincere devotion to your God (Note: even Barbie can be your God). For example, the annual obligation to fast for the Muslims. Controversial it may sound but, based on credible evidences from designated holy scriptures, there is no point fasting when you do not perform your diurnal prayers. You may assume that only the Lord knows your intentions. Assume all you want, but can you ever know what God truly feels of you? Fat chance.
Faith does not mean religion in particular. You can place faith on astronomy, physics, law, psychology or whatever that exist under the sun or even yourself. But have you question what you believe in before even having the guts to question other faiths? Before entering to another portal of query, I suggest you to set up a bastion of your own belief(s) before someone queries you on the most infantile question with regards to your faith. Counter in reverence as force will only make others loathe your faith.
To the religiously inclined; Stop what you are doing when you can never find an answer to your query. Conversion is never a suicide mission even if it leads to you grave. When you place faith on something new, you will embark on a new life God willing. Trust me, I have been there- A quest of faith.
To individuals who holds no faith towards themselves. Its blatantly senseless. “Fuck my life” is never a mantra to rectify personal cacophonies.
Are you faithful to your faith?
Sucks. I hate doing this
So yeah, two bones on my right hand are fractured and a bit bent. Operation coming soon. Let’s pray for each others well-being shall we?

Just a few seconds ago, I debated with my brother, without using any supporting materials.
“Merry Christmas”
It’s a test of logic. His argument was that we are not encouraged to say that because we believe that Jesus was born on that time, which was truly false and not recorded and authenticated by any historians. Valid.
My say was that it is okay to greet as it shows a sign of respect. Actually, we live in a zero-respect ground, but more of a tolerance, give-and-take kind of a situation. To me, it’s a form of greeting, not that we believe in it or sorts. Saying it does not count into what we believe. Then I shall ask, can’t other monotheists say “Selamat Hari Raya Haji” to us because some did not believe that Abraham dreamt and was told to sacrifice Ishmael, which later exchanged to a Keebash?
To me, in a multi-religious society, its not appropriate to say that “hey you are not supposed to do this to him!” or “hey! You can’t say that to me!” or something. as said, tolerance. I mean, it’s human nature and no one can dictate what to do and how to do it. To impose a “NO-NO” on a society means barring one from interacting with others, which would limit tolerance, and thus weakens the chain of respect of each other.
Idk, this is MY argument without any profound facts. I do know that there are many available resources on the net blablabla.. but it’s my tumblr page, and these are my thoughts. :)
I may not be a holy person, not even near to that, in fact. There is one thing I am certain of, God is always there. One of the verses in the Holy Quran that always appealed to me is this verse:
On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) “Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector Help us against those who stand against faith.” (2:286)
Idk but this verse really gives meaning. As an Arabic language enthusiast, though not of a really high standard or sort, I believe that the meaning in arabic language is much deeper than that of the translated one. Even if my arabic is not to the level of “Godliness” but I do feel it. Well that enlightened me, somewhat or rather.
I shall keep this verse in mind (especially the hellish period of NS) throughout my breathing life.
Well that’s all. Booking in tomorrow. Anyone wanna send me? or fetch me on Friday? Heh. :P
